How to get your CSV
Export your YouTube comments from Google Takeout in a few minutes.
Go to Google Takeout
Open takeout.google.com while signed in to the Google account you use on YouTube.
Deselect everything
Click « Deselect all » so that only what we need gets exported.
Pick YouTube and YouTube Music
Scroll to the bottom of the list and tick « YouTube and YouTube Music ».
Open the YouTube options
Click « All YouTube data included » to open the product options.
Keep only comments
In the pop-up, deselect everything, then tick only « Comments ». Click OK.
Start the export
Click « Continue », leave every setting as-is, then click « Create export ».
Wait for the email
Google emails you a download link — usually within 5 minutes, depending on how many comments you have.
Extract the CSV
Download the .zip, unzip it, and import the comments CSV file into CommentTracker.
